Question of the Day. (Judgement-Free Zone)
How do you pick your friends? What attributes do you want a friend to have? These are things we ask ourselves if we are seeking a really good friend. After you find that one friend that seems to be so cool, What's next? How can you trust them? What would they have to do to gain your trust? In life people that you meet may seem to be the coolest friend you've ever met but then on the other hand how do you know that the friend is not trying to use you? Trust me, when people say things and act like the perfect friend and they seem to be too good to be trust, they probably are. You always got to watch your back in life because the only person, though in spirit that has your back is God. Anybody can turn there back on you but I've never once felt God turning his back on me. Now, I'm not saying that I have never fallen short of his glory, I'm just saying you cannot rely on man to come through for you because the needs that each of you have can only be given through the spirit, which basically your spirit can be effected by the people and/or the environment we live in. So tell me how you pick and choose who is good for you? Who can you trust and who you should stay away from. What is Real (in your definition)? And when no one seems to be by your side, would you go to God, Why or why not??
How I pick and choose who is good for me? I don't think we pick we just know somehow. We might hang around that person more than others we may connect more than others I believe. Who can I trust? Just like you said we are all man its takes a long time to establish trust with someone and know who to trust. Who should you stay away from... how do you know if you don't deep your feet in each persons pool meaning how do you know if you don't have any experience with a certain person. No I wouldn't turn to God because God will always be in my life through the good and the bad. I'm not just going to turn to God when things are bad but I will turn to him when things are good as well. I don't get caught up if no one is by my side... my father taught me that I could be happy by myself... so if no one is by my side I always have me to turn to... i amuse myself. but idk about all of this just something from atop of the head idk. I told myself lets help the young buckston to get started with the blog. so idk just some food for thought lol
ReplyDeleteWell thanks you are the first and you answer well as well. there really isn't a right or wrong answer. Yea God flows in my life as well I'm just saying like would you rather be alone or pray every night and know that God is always there because in reality you aren't alone, he is always going to be a father of understanding in times of good and bad like you said!
ReplyDeleteFriends just sort of come. whether they ask an ice breaker question or what ever. somehow yall click in some way. Once a person becomes my friend I trust them until they give me a reason not to because although in the past some friends I find I shouldn't trust, everyone is not the same. My definition of real is a person that is themself regardless of who is around and they don't act different just because they are around certain people. i push away people who are not like that. or the people who always have something negative to say about things all the time.
